3-ring binder (1 ½” or 2” is suggested) – If you have a big binder from another class, you may section off part of it for Spanish.
Lined, college ruled paper for the binder
Dividers for binder – you will be keeping 1) a record of assignments, 2) notes, and 3) an archive/study guide of works we’ve read
Blue or black pens (all assignments should be completed in either blue or black ink)
Highlighters – 1pk – any color
1 ream of copy paper (500 sheets)
*There are a limited number of Spanish & English dictionaries in the classroom, so you may want to purchase your own. The following are good recommendations:
a) Bantam New College Spanish & English Dictionary
b) University of Chicago Spanish & English Dictionary
c) New World Spanish & English Dictionary
*There are many other good dictionaries. The important thing to remember is that you want a dictionary with at least 50,000 entries.
